The Company

In June 2002 Knöllinger FLO-TEC GmbH was established as a partner of Knöllinger Keramische Verschleißteile GmbH (refractories), having it’s headquarter in Hillscheid/Germany. Since September 2002 we are a licensee for the FLO-CON System.

Our product range includes the traditional FLO-CON Sliding Gate Valve as well as the improved FLO-CON generation XX15-17 with the hydraulic closing system.

As an innovative company it is our aim to develop high quality products that correspond to the requirements of our customers. The fact that we employ people with an experience of many years in the FLO-CON area is the key-factor to be successful in this field.

Furthermore we have developed a new Sliding Gate Valve type FT that is safe, easy to handle and cost-saving in maintenance. This mechanism can be operated with the new developed FT-refractory plates as well as with standard FLO-CON plates or other plates of other systems, thus giving independence to the user.

All these mechanisms can also be delivered as 3-plate-system for ingot pouring. Also the conversion of 2-plate FLO-CON mechanisms into a 3-plate-system is possible.

Furthermore we have in our program: emergency valves for the tundish and precision stopper devices.
